The Feminar

"Working with Cassie Premo Steele gave me the support of women and we deepened our mutual support through our discussion of intersectional feminist theories. It helped me to cultivate the inner strength to share my work and get more of my ideas out into the community.”

Feminar testimonials

"This program helped me get back to the joy of writing and my own ability to work through a project to completion. I have begun to work consistently and commit to my writing. I am so much happier when I’m writing. I am so grateful to have a community of women writers to lean on and as we support each other.”

Writing the Source gives you...

20 Group Classes

Each week, we meet twice a week to learn how to apply the lessons of intersectional feminisms to our own lives and work. Particular attention will be paid to the development of writing, editing, and revision processes in empowering ways. Each class also includes a group mindfulness lesson so you can integrate new techniques into your work without anxiety or fear.

These group sessions allow you to join a community of women who are changing themselves while they change the world.
3 Individual Writing Coaching Sessions

Drawing from my 30 years of research, writing, and teaching in the fields of comparative literature, women’s studies, trauma scholarship, and mindfulness, I will meet with you one-on-one three times during the program, and our 1-hour individual coaching sessions will guide your work and open you to the empowerment that only comes through education.

These coaching sessions will allow you to take your own place in the dialogue of feminists who are making the world a more just and loving place.
40 Collective Writing Sessions

Many other programs promise to offer you the tools and techniques to improve your work. Writing the Source does what no other program does: it helps you get your work done. Four times a week, we gather together online for 1-hour live writing sessions. There is so much power in gathering with women and female-identified people from all across the globe and writing together.

Writing in a skillful, supported way allows you to get clear about how you're holding yourself back and how you can move forward.

PLUS: Ongoing Email Support

Members have the opportunity to connect with Cassie anytime by email and are invited to connect in this way with others in the program, too. Get to know each other. Ask questions. Give support. Brainstorm. Network. Share your writing.
This is how the revolution starts.

Cost is $899 for the 10-week program, which includes 53 hours of live teaching, writing, and coaching support.

Monthly payment plans are available.
