Here's my latest interview about my 3 recent books of poetry, fiction and nonfiction.
Since receiving my Ph.D. in Comparative Literature and Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1996, my work has been dedicated to writing about how we can live with greater meaning and joy.
I am the author of 16 books and audio publications, and my poetry has been nominated 6 times for a Pushcart Prize.
From 2009-2015, I was a monthly columnist for Literary Mama, named one of the 101 best websites for writers by Writers' Digest. My Birthing the Mother Writer column provides the kind of helpful, behind-the-scenes advice and insight that I teach in my workshops.
My TED Talk, "Writing as a Way of Calming, Centering, and Making Meaning."
